MadLettuce Websites for Language Schools

MadLettuce enjoys working with language schools and educational institutions.

We have lots of fun experienece helping promote language schools and teacher training academies around the world. Teacher training collages and TEFL academies have used our programming and SEO skills to promote their websites and boost their online sales.

Learn English in Barcelona

Case Study: English Express Online.com

Using PyroCMS we did some simple graphics for this English Language School which wanted to portray their simplicity and efficiency on a low budget.

We incorporated social media links for them (to 'like' the page in Facebook, Digg, MySpace etc) and also had a feed for their Twitter account built in so their Tweets update onto the website.

The site also has a registration form for their mailing lists and a private logon area for students to access materials.

We discussed the target market for this site and established key words and phrases to focus on for getting the page found in Google for when potential students are looking for a school.

We incorporated Google analytics to view visitor trends and plugged in Google Adsense (the ugly adverts at the bottom) to help these guys make a few quid when people click their adverts.

Not bad for under 400 quid and that's with the domain name and a years worth of hosting included!

Yet another example of how a small business can control it's own content from any browser, have some interesting add-ons, yet still have a very low and accessible price.

TEFL Courses and English Teaching

Case Study: The World TEFL Project

Using our PyroCMS Pro platform we were able to launch a cluster of branded sites for the World TEFL Project.

Europe-Tefl.com, Asia-TEFL.com, Latin-TEFL.com, Christian-TEFL.com and Distance-TEFL.com and of course World-TEFL.com. All of these sites are accessed and controlled through a single signon, from any web browser. Content on all sites can be easily changed as quickly as you can type or copy/paste the new content in.

To promote the site social media activities have been linked into the site including a comprehansive blog which Tweets out posts and posts them straight to Facebook and LinkedIn too.

SEO has been woven into this site meaning that page rank and visitors are rocketing up a steep curve already.

This will be a huge brand within the TEFL and English Teaching industry. Book mark it!

Teach English Abroad

Case Study: EuropeTefl.com

EuropeTefl .com promotes TEFL teacher training courses.

Their old site had been built in HTML and as their number of courses grew so did their site. Using basic HTML skills they added more pages which created problems for managing the navigation and SEO challenges.

We recommended a site migration to PyroCMS and a general tidy up.

The ability to upload images straight from your desktop and editing content in any browser using built in CMS tools means that these guys are able to allow more staff to update the website with hardly any training and without needing FTP and HTML editing tools.

The result of moving to PyroCMS means cool things can be uploaded and shared really quickly whilst they are still relevant. It's a classic case of a CMS system empowering a small business.

We incorporated social media links for them (to 'like' the page in Facebook, Digg, MySpace etc) and also had a feed for their Twitter and Facebook accounts built in so their Tweets and Facebook status update onto the website. This has had a huge impact with them building up more of a community amongst their alumni.

The community impact will be increased when they launch their blog, built into PyroCMS to announce course details and publish the progress of their courses and students.
